BACKGROUND
You went to see the doctor last week for a check-up and had some blood tests taken. You received a call on a few days ago asking you to come in because your cholesterol levels were high and that you would be getting a medication to help with it.
You have heard that cholesterol is a bad thing but don’t know why.
You have never heard of atorvastatin.
You are willing to take tablets but don’t want to be on them long-term.
LIFESTYLE
• DIET: You eat healthy – ready meals, and takeaway like burgers, but you always get them with salad, so you aren’t sure why your cholesterol is high.
