You recently attended for a health check up. You have been told you are at risk of cardiovascular disease but you aren’t sure what this means.

LIFESTYLE

 • DIET: You eat a lot of takeaway – you don’t know how to cook and it is easier to buy takeout – you only like to eat burgers and oily foods, like fish and chips.

• EXERCISE: You do not exercise – you feel embarrassed at the idea of being seen exercising

Hypertension – diagnosed 5 years ago. High cholesterol diagnosed a month ago.

Father died of a heart attack at 60.
