Summary Intermediate

In this scenario, a female patient attending the NHS community pharmacy contraceptive service wishes to switch from the progestogen-only pill (Desogestrel) due to intolerable frequent bleeding. The pharmacist must assess eligibility for combined hormonal contraception (CHC) and initiate an appropriate CHC with correct switching and dosing advice.
